Email security
Protect yourself from email compromise and fake alerts
Email attacks often combine urgency with impersonation. A fake message may claim that an account is locked, a payment is pending or a document needs immediate review. These messages can be spoofed to sound official and trustworthy.
What to check
- Sender address and domain
- Urgent or abnormal wording
- Unexpected attachments or links
- Requests for OTP or credentials
What to do
- Open the official website directly
- Verify the message through a trusted channel
- Report suspicious senders
